Our Staff:

	Bill Huff-  Owner, Commercial Sales Bill is a lifelong Decaturite who's greatest satisfaction is helping someone reach for their goals.  He represents the 4th generation in the Huff family business.  He graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Building Construction and has been working in the family business full time since 1967.
	Kay Huff- Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer Kay was born and raised in Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan's Dental Hygiene School.  She married Bill Huff in 1966 and moved to Decatur in 1967 where she has worked part time as a dental hygienist for 4 decades.  Kay's main job focus includes the bookkeeping and administrative duties that keep our business running smoothly.
	Mike Couch- Operations Manager, Sales Mike began his career with us over 15 years ago.  He obtained a Bachelors Degree from Millikin University.  He has completed numerous building industry and product continuing education courses including Marvin Window and Door Company’s Advanced Commercial and Residential Design and Analytic Specialties Training.  His training with Marvin enables him to facilitate builders and architects in finding the products that match the aesthetic and functional design of their project.  He specializes in commercial projects and is our general manager.  He has extensive knowledge of where to procure hard to find products and is the “go to guy” for our entire staff.
	Bill Boils- Contractor Sales Bill started with us in 2007 after leaving his job as a retail manager.  He has over 33 years experience in the construction industry.  He has extensive knowledge in carpentry and masonry and owned his own construction company.  He also has worked previously as a project manager for a local construction company.  His years of experience have made him very knowledgeable in construction industry products.  He recently completed Advanced Training for Marvin Window and Door Company at Warroad, MN.
	Lorie Klawitter- Kitchens and Baths Sales Lorie is our kitchen and bath designer and salesperson.  She started with us in the spring of 1996.  She previously was the owner/operator of “A Shade Better”, a lighting store formerly located in Brettwood Village Shopping Center.  She graduated from Valparaiso University with a minor in design and has continued her design education while at Huff Home Specialties through seminars and training conducted by the National Kitchen and Bath Association and by our cabinet manufacturers.
	Tom Boils- Windows, Doors, Closet Systems, & Deck Sales Tom started with us as a window and door installer in 2003.  In 2007 he became the installed salesman for windows, doors, decks, millwork, and hardware.  He has been in the construction industry since 1983 and has extensive hands-on experience in a wide range of products.  He attended advanced training for Marvin Window and Door Company in 2008 at Warroad, MN gaining valuable knowledge in all aspects of Marvin’s product lines and options.
	Tim Sheren- Counter Sales and Lumberyard Tim has been with us for over 14 years now.  His years of experience have made him familiar with most aspects of our company including inventory, computer software systems, vehicle maintenance, and he occasionally builds the picnic tables some of our customers order.
	Vicki Hill - Bookkeeper and receptionist Vicki began working with us part time in 2008 and now is a full time staff member in the office.  She is a Decatur native and her experience in clerical, retail management, sales, and customer service makes her a valuable asset to our company by freeing up time for our estimating staff to focus on getting our customers the products and services they need.
	Steff - Greeter Steff has been a fixture at our business since 1998.  His duties include chasing away rabbits and groundhogs who venture too near our property and occaisonally raising an eyebrow when customers come close to him while he is sleeping.
